Shandong Superhard Materials Industry-Education Alliance (筹) established

     1 On the 15th of the month, the Shandong Superhard Materials Industry-Education Alliance (筹) establishment conference was held at Liaocheng Vocational and Technical College.

Deputy Director Chen Yugeng of Liaocheng Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Deputy Director Li Xu of Liaocheng Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, Dean Teng Mouyong of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Liaocheng University, Director Fan Haifeng of Lu Xi Quality Inspection Center, Liaocheng Xinke Pyrophyllite Co.,Ltd. Vice President Shi Aihui, Liaocheng Shuangzuan Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. General Manager Zhao Jinguo and other representatives from 18 enterprises and institutions in the provincial superhard materials industry attended the on-site meeting. Representatives from 6 scientific research and technical support units, including the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Shandong Provincial Doctor Alliance, participated in the online meeting.

At the meeting, Zhao Jinguo, general manager of Liaocheng Shuangzuan Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. in Shandong Province, was invited to deliver an important speech. General Manager Zhao said with emotion: "Having been engaged in the Shandong superhard materials industry for more than 20 years! Finally, we have an organization, and we have moved beyond the stage of being leaderless and fighting independently. In the future, the Shandong superhard materials industry will surely develop rapidly under the leadership of the alliance." Chen Yugeng and Xu Longhai unveiled the sign for the "Shandong Superhard Materials Industry-Education Alliance." Li Xu and Xu Longhai unveiled the sign for the "Liaocheng Vocational and Technical College Superhard Materials Engineering Technology Research Center."

Xu Hongxiang and Shandong Liaocheng Shuangzuan Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. and representatives from 6 other companies signed school-enterprise cooperation agreements. The meeting elected the chairman, vice chairman, secretary-general, and council members, and reviewed and approved the alliance's articles of association, work plan, and other matters.

Chen Yugeng, on behalf of the Liaocheng Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, expressed his full support for the establishment of the alliance, actively seeking policy support for the development of the alliance, serving national strategic goals, and serving the strategic goals of Liaocheng's industrial strong city.

Li Xu stated that the establishment of the superhard materials industry-education alliance is timely and necessary, as it can effectively integrate production, education, and research, and will surely achieve a result greater than the sum of its parts (1+1>2).

The Shandong Superhard Materials Industry-Education Alliance (筹) was established to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the National Vocational Education Conference, the "National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan" ("Vocational Education 20 Articles"), the "Shandong Provincial Major Project Implementation Plan for the Transformation of New and Old Kinetic Energy," and other documents. Guided by the Liaocheng Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the Liaocheng Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, and led by Liaocheng Vocational and Technical College, the alliance integrates scientific research resources and builds a "production, education, research, and innovation" integration platform involving multiple parties, including government, schools, industries, and enterprises. It aims to enhance the ability of vocational education to serve economic and social development and promote the sustained and healthy development of the superhard materials industry in Liaocheng and even Shandong Province.
